Step by Step How To Convert At 7.23% At Scale
Steal my exact formula that we use to help our clients convert like crazy.
Hey there!
How would you like to be in the top 10% of all Shopify store?
Did you know that to be in the top 10%, all you need to do is convert at 4.8% site wide? Easier said than done, especially at scale!
However, it's doable! In fact, we recently helped one of our Shopify Plus brands earn a 7.23% CVR in August while doing more than $810k in sales.
Most people try to hack together their stores with conversion tips and tricks.
But they don’t understand that these hacks can actually have a negative impact.
Instead, you want to focus on creating a great experience that educates customers.
Keep reading to steal my 3 step process that we use to help Shopify Plus stores like this convert over 7%.
Step 1 - Build trust and confidence
Most people think all you need are reviews to build trust, but this couldn’t be further than the truth.
- You need your customers to trust that your product will solve their problems.
- You need them to trust that they are buying the right product for their needs.
- You need them to trust that they will get it on time and if they don’t like it, that they can easily return.
- Build trust in accordance with every objection they could throw at you to not buy and build your site around overcoming those objections.
Step 2 - Get your customers in and out
- If someone clicks on an ad for a specific product, take them to that product.
- The goal with your site should be to get your customers to the right product as quickly as possible while making sure they know it’s the right product for them.
- Don’t oversell your customers by trying to upsell them every five seconds or with a million popups. Get the sale then upsell post purchase or with your retention efforts.
Step 3 - Messaging needs to be in sync across the board
- Your pre-click offers need to match your post click offers and value props.
- Your pre and post click angles need to match. For example, if you’re pushing the cleanest dog treats on the market in your ads, your PDP needs to share the same message.
TL:DR
1. Make sure your customers are confident that your brand and products are going to help them go from their current state to their desired end goal.
2. Make it easy for your customers to buy and don’t overcomplicate their journey.
Keep your brand messaging in sync across all marketing channels.
There’s no need to hack together sites with the latest CRO tips and tricks.
Just focus on a smooth experience that solves the problem your customers have.
Until next time,
